Sarah Cronin focuses her practice in the areas of Workers’ Compensation, litigation, strategic advising, and legal consulting. Prior to joining Power & Cronin, Ms. Cronin served as a Legal and Policy Advisor at the Illinois Commerce Commission. She served as Legal and Policy Advisor to Governor Bruce Rauner appointee, Chairman Brien Sheahan and continued her service at the Commission under a new administration working for Governor J.B. Pritzker appointee, Commissioner Michael T. Carrigan.
Aside from her experience with environmental policy and regulatory law working at the Illinois Commerce Commission, Ms. Cronin has experience working at a Chicago Engineering firm, at the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, and with the Illinois Prison Project. With her experiences in both the public and private sectors, she brings a unique skillset to the firm that enables her to effectively counsel and represent clients through all aspects of their case.
Ms. Cronin was born and raised in Elmhurst, Illinois. She attended Marquette University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and French Language. She earned her Juris Doctor from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2021 and was a member of the Dean’s List during her time at school.
